What if the background removal needs more work?
Depending on what the background of your image is, you may need to remove some parts manually. (Low contrast between the item and the background can present challenges to the background removing tool.)
Tap the pencil icon ✎ on your image to edit,
select Remove Background or Edit Background, then
tap the eraser icon

at the bottom of the screen.
Use your finger or a stylus to erase. To change the size of the eraser, use the slider at the bottom of the screen.
Need a closer look to get it just right? Tap Zoom, then you can pinch the image to zoom in or out. Tap the eraser icon again to get back to making those detailed adjustments.
Tap Undo to remove changes or tap Done if you're happy with your edits.
Continue with any additional edits you’re making to your item, then click Save & Finish OR if you have no further edits other than the photo, tap the back button at the top of the screen to go back to your dashboard. You will be asked if you wish to save and if you say Yes, the item will be saved as a draft.
Click the pencil icon ✎ on the photo you would like to edit. Next, select Edit Background from the menu. On the editing screen, simply use the eraser to remove parts of the image you wish to remove. To erase larger or smaller parts of the image, you can adjust your eraser size using the slider and edit the eraser color by clicking on the pencil icon ✎ next to Eraser Color. Click Save to apply your edits and remember to click Save as Draft or Save on the bottom of the page to save the photo to your item.
